Shaped Shutters,
Fan Tops & Rake designs...
The problems of dressing unusually shaped windows is easily
and beautifully overcome with custom made shaped shutters.
Two methods are available for arches; 1. The fan-top
(pictured right), with folding shutters beneath make a stunning
impression on any room. Operable louvers within the fan only
enhance the mood, making these panels highly desirable where
an individual look is required. 2. Arched
or raked shutters form the second treatment. These
are regular shutters with the top section shaped to fit the
arch or rake of the window frame. All these options are highly
specialised panels with their own inherant design and installation
requirements. With our breadth of knowledge and expertise
however, no window need miss out.

The
Finest materials...
There are a number of materials used in the shutter industry.
Predominantly Poplar and Basswood. With many years experience
in both these staple sources, We now continue our production
using carefully selected Basswood. With it's tight, even,
consistant grain and renowned workability and stable nature,
We (but more importantly you) have the best of all worlds.
Although Basswood is a hardwood, it is light in weight and
has an even blonde appearance making it perfect for the construction
of interior shutters. With it's pale natural grain, Basswood
provides a perfect base for obtaining just about any family
of colour you care to choose. From an almost white, ash like
finish, right down to the darker Walnuts and Mahogany end
of the spectrum. |
